What is a smart telescope?

A smart telescope is a fully automatic all-in-one device: It aligns itself, detects celestial objects, and creates stacked images – controlled via your smartphone or tablet.

Ideal for anyone who wants to get started with deep-sky photography without any complications.

Who benefits from this?

  • You want astrophotography without complicated setup

  • You are looking for a compact setup for on the go

  • You want to gain your first deep-sky experience

My conclusion for practice

Smart telescopes significantly lower the barrier to entry for deep-sky photography. They don't replace a professional setup, but they enable images that would have been unthinkable just a few years ago.

They are a real option for beginners and mobile astro fans.
