About the event
This photography trip is aimed at beginners and advanced landscape photographers who want to further develop their skills and personal style. At the hotel, I will introduce the key themes of landscape photography. We'll do a lot of photography, and you'll receive personalized tips. Participants will present their photos and receive constructive criticism from the group and from me. We'll undertake short hikes, some on rough terrain, so good fitness and surefootedness are required.
Photographic content: camera settings, image composition, panoramas, image sharpness through focus shifting, long exposure photography (including the use of filters), HDR in special lighting situations.
Day 1: Arrival from 3 p.m. and introductions. Fine-tuning of the program according to weather and other specifics. Photography at a typical Upper Harz mining pond. Image editing and discussion.
Day 2: Breakfast. Photo hike around the Oderteich (approx. 4.5 km), one of the most popular ponds in the Upper Harz and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Image editing and discussion.
Day 3: Breakfast. Photographing in Torfhausmoor, one of the large raised bogs in the Harz National Park. Image editing and discussion.
Day 4: Breakfast. Departure by 10 a.m.

Equipment: Appropriate clothing, camera (preferably manual), wide-angle lens, tripod, remote shutter release, filter and nodal point adapter (if available)
